Slycraft.com opened its virtual doors for business in September 2002. Slycraft began in book form back in 1984 with the release of Slycraft's Catalog of Stuff, published by Crown (a division of Random House), and written by Albin Sadar and Bob Pagani. This catalog parody featured almost 100 products and services, all designed to "solve problems that don't exist with solutions that don't work." Readers today still find the book funny, although many, sadly, have be institutionalized. The few remaining copies of this masterpiece are locked away under heavy armed security at Slycraft.com's world headquarters in New York City. Last we heard there were also 2 copies for sale on E-bay: one for $199 and one for $1.99.
